Teppanyaki at Kabuto, a fun night!
12th December, 2006.It was a fun filled evening with VG & GA around.

Post confusion --whether the dinner at the sushi bar would be faster or the actual dinning place, had a movie to catch, we decided to do justice to the restaurant. An old lady seated us around a warm iron griddle, teppan. Shortly 2 more people joined us on the other side. A 90.5 sanity score didn't encourage us. We had heard highly about the place, but who gives a damn, a restaurant's USP to me should be its food, who cares for health!...(sometime being a tongue slave is good :) )
An Indonesian chef started off with his theatrical skill of juggling utensils, whereas the chef across us was flipping shrimp in his shirt pocket & cap.
The flame on the teppan was good. Nigiri Sushi ( Taco -octopus & Tamago - egg) and Teriyaki skewers as starters was a good choice. Taco was good with wasabi ( Japanese horseradish), was hot, mustard hot, Gari(ginger slices) was goooooooooood, I love that sweet pickle taste. Taco dipped in Shoyu and paste of gari & wasabi did set the nostrils ablaze.
Clear soup was awesome, GA & I too a second helping on that after our dinner. Fresh salad with ranch did start making us hungry, real hungry.
